Even the most conservative estimate will show 25k EB2 applications between October 1st 2005 - September 1st 2006. You still have Eb3 to eb2 conversions, labor subs etc. So 1 lakh 485 including dependents is good for 2004 and 2005. With per country quota of 3800 + row scraps I still think a person with PD 2006 Eb2 will wait a decade to get his green card or end up at Silicon valley of India, Bangalore.

Since your file is at TSC, there is an email address that AILA members have to request that your file be processed once PD is current. Contact your lawyer and ask him to check AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 08103067, that's where the procedure is outlined.

First and foremost, a Big THANK YOU to all the IV core team who along side their full time jobs were working behind the scenes in getting this done and having to go through the hecklers and naysayers.
A big thank you to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren in helping pass all the pain and outrage of legal immigrants to the people incharge and making them listen.
Also last but not the least, every active member of IV who participated in the flower campaign, in San Jose rally and in actively informing media on IV projects to showcase legal immigration issues. And for keeping saner heads in the insane times.

So please encourage this rather than put a negative remark like this.
If you do not want to send it, its fine. Nobody is forcing anybody.
The flowers are going there is large numbers irrespective of what IV says or anybody says

Where in the bulletin you are looking at?
Spillover mentioned in the "VISA BULLETIN FOR SEPTEMBER 2008" can only be used in the timeframe Sept-01-2008 till Sept-30-2008.

I am waiting for someone from IV core to endorse the idea.
This was discussed in a conference call with core today - a bunch of flowers may not even reach the intended person. Such a campaign may look good in movies only.
The concept of IV is to communicate in the most effective manner. Do please come up with innovative ideas - and see how best we can utilize them.
Do not open new polls and threads for these activities.

Weird situation, I decided to call the 800# and got a nice lady who unfortunately spoke very fast for me to grasp.
I mentioned that Since my 140 approval in Jan '09 and as Primary applicant who received a 2nd fingerprinting notice (completed on 5th July 09) and my wife never received any notice.
When I mentioned that I have not received any case updates at all no LUD's even. She checked her systems and said I can see your case is transferred to VSC in Feb '09 and they are currently processing July 24, 2006 you case is within the time frame for processing. When I mentioned that my case has gone from NSV -->TSV -->VSC she could say no more except that they are within the processing time frame. She couldn't give any more details if the case is pre-adjudicated or not.
I mean what the point of PD if their are processing at their schedule and if every transfer means a new shift in dates. I got to get an infopass appointment since the dates are current for me next month.
Sucks just when i wanted to shift houses and now lawyers says wait since your dates are current do not risk doing AR-11

I have started the process where my employer is working on the filing. Of course they keep reminding me that EB1 is retrogressed and so I cannot file concurrently. Sunil is right if you mean "actual filing" as the process having started. As for me I am dithering because once I file I will have to sit tight for the whole thing to end and right now there is no end in sight. If I change jobs after filing I will have to go through this whole pain again! Hope this clarifies the situation. Let me know if I can be of any help.

We also were in touch with another highly skilled/educated PhD holder from China who was very eager to help but unfortunately his GC process had also not started
